El Proyecto Agroecología en América Latina: Construyendo Caminos busca recolectar datos de las actividades agroecológicas en la producción mediante una serie de indicadores y de esta manera apoyar a las familias campesinas que participan a contar con información de cómo su quehacer impacta en los aspectos económicos, sociales y ambientales con estas acciones se diseñan e implementan herramientas y metodologías para que gestione de forma eficiente los recursos dentro de la unidad de producción, considerando evidencias y registros.

El proyecto es desarrollado con la cooperación internacional de The University of British Columbia (UBC) y la Inter American Foundation (IAF) e implementada por 10 organizaciones en 7 países del norte, centro y sur de América al día de hoy participan 313 familias campesinas de los diferentes países donde se aplica todas trabajando en procesos de producción, consumo y comercialización de productos agroecológicos.
